I’ve been reading and listening to a number of online resources as I explore Buddhist thought, and I’d like to share some of them.

Shambhala Times: Shambhala’s official community news hub includes articles by and about the Sakyong, featured news, and posts by Shambhala members from around the world on various topics. If you’re a member, you might get a digest email of each week’s new posts.

Patheos: I’ve mentioned this website before as a fascinating compendium of information on the world’s religions. Find the Buddhist bloggers here.

Elephant Journal: I discovered this site when the Sakyong appeared on it in a live webstream. The articles on the site cover many topics beyond Buddhism but they’re often thought-provoking.

Meditation in the City: The blog and podcast from the New York Shambhala Center. For their podcast, they record talks from many senior teachers and make them available as audio recordings.

ZenCast: One of the first Buddhist podcasts I began listening to. Most of the episodes are dharma talks recorded at Insight Meditation Centers, which teach a slightly different tradition, but the talks are still valuable. I listen to these when I go to the gym, which really encourages mindful attention to what I’m doing!
