Saturday Salon

    Join us at our Saturday Salons for a variety of practices: open meditation, book discussions and other topics, group practices, and more. The Center will be open from 10 am to 2 pm. Drop in as you wish; no registration required. Schedules are subject to change based on the interests of participants - we're most interested in fostering conversastion and community - but these are the planned events for this month:

    10 am - 2 pm: Open (untimed) meditation in the Small Meditation Hall.

    10 am - 2 pm: Community gathering and discussions TBA in the kitchen area. Enjoy our snacks or bring your own lunch.

    10:30 am: Shambhala Sadhana - for those who have attended Enlightened Society Assembly and received the practice. (Please bring your text.) **

    12:00 pm: Letter of the Black Ashe/Letter of the Golden Key reading and study - for those who have attended Sacred Path and received the practice. (Please bring your text.)**


    ** These practices come to Way of Shambhala students at designated points in the curriculum; there are prerequisites to participate.

    If you would like to participate in the Shambhala Sadhana and you have not attended ESA, please check our schedule for Shambhala Sadhana practices that are open to the community: monthly Full Moon practices, Shambhala Day (in February), and Harvest of Peace (in September).
