    Our quarterly Community Meetings are open to the public. The Council working group will present topics and updates to share with the community, and when needed, hold formal consensus decisions.

    August Meeting Agenda

    The Phoenix Shambhala Meditation Center welcomes you to our August Community Meeting. The theme of this meeting is how we can support you. Council members will make brief presentations of information relevant to their positions, but we want to spend most of the time listening to you and your ideas. We'd also like to hear what you think about our activities on the council, and we hope these agenda items can encourage your feedback.

    Agenda to include:

    • Andre, Chagdzö (Bursar): Overview of Phoenix Shambhala Center's finances. (See the blog post on this topic and the accompanying report.)
    • LaDawn, Societal Health & Wellbeing: How might deleks best support the community?
    • Michelle, Publicity Coordinator and DBA: What would topics would you like to see covered on social media? What would you like to see at the Saturday Salons?
    • Open to the community: What else would you like to say?

    The Phoenix Shambhala Council is the leadership group that represents and integrates the various facets of the Phoenix sangha.

    The Phoenix Shambhala Council is grounded in the basic inspiration of supporting and expanding a community in which people can dedicate themselves to building Shambhala society and propagating the vision of Shambhala.
