Have you ever been curious about meditation? This five-week course provides introductory tools and teachings for working with meditation in everyday life. With simple instructions and support, mindfulness meditation practice can become part of one’s life, revealing our innate stability, strength and clarity.

Bev Williams and Cindy Sagers present the practice of peaceful abiding meditation and guidance on how to establish a meditation practice. The ways that meditation practice can improve the quality of daily life are discussed, along with the obstacles. By deepening our experience and understanding of ourselves through the practice of meditation, we more fully become who we already are.

Meditation in Everyday Life will be held on five consecutive Thursday evenings (6:30 - 8:30) beginning March 21. Give yourself the gift of a regular meditation practice and infuse your life and the lives of those around you with compassion, caring, and kindness.

Meditation in Everyday Life is the first class in the Shambhala Training curriculum. It offers a glimpse of the Shambhala vision of an enlightened society created through mindfulness-awareness meditation. And how stability and wisdom cultivated through this practice can expand to benefit the world around us.

All are welcome!
